claiming its independence and having a “free town” status like Montmartre in Paris .

”The Little Paris Friends” which has its own town council, board of directors and series of debates.
Gerard Brion was elected mayor of The Little Paris
for his second mandate with over 78percent of the votes at the last March 2008 municipal elections.
Bertrand Delanoë is a little like his “colleague” because the problems here are the same as in Big Paris. With a more effective car-traffic and pollution reduction, a true policy for a better environment!
The Little Paris has remained an ecological model since its creation in 1983. The Mayor in the Little Paris is also in charge of the presidency of the “Little Paris Friends”so as to go on with the economic development of the small capital.
