L'histoire du Petit-Paris
A chef d'oeuvre made famous by more than 40 TV shows in 5 years! Quite surprising because this publicity was the result of a little scandal in the media...

Gérard Brion and his Little Paris were ignored by the general public for more than 14 years. From 1996 a few reports were made in the local press and the regional TV. The place being cut off about 1000 interested people came to the site a year..

But on August 31st 1997 Princess Diana died in a terrible accident in Paris. This tragic event will highlight the Little Paris! Visitors specially came to the Little Paris to see the poorly famous Pont de l'Alma.... In order to pay a tribute to Princess Diana, Gérard Brion used flowers and a portrait of the princess. But people did want to see the famous Mercedes... Then what do you think he did? He smashed a miniature Mercedes with a hammer and placed it under the fatal bridge! Isn't it stupefying?

Then “paparazzi” and crowds of onlookers came in hundreds to see the strange reconstitution. That was a real scoop for the little Paris.

Gerard Brion and his Little Paris could be seen in the “presse- people”, on TV in France and England, at the 1o'clock news on every channel and in the whole world!

On TF1, France 2, France 3, M6, Canal+, TV5 etc... in Europe but also in China, Japan and the press abroad...

Chat shocking event deeply changed Gérard's life. ince then he has used the Paris news and reproduced the Paris events. At the latest municipal elections, he won the Little Paris Mayor election with an over 78 percent score! He even reproduces Paris Beach, the July14th military parade, the famous Garden Party.... Paris has become an endless source of inspiration for him because there is always something going on there... Diana's accident helped the Little Paris to survive and every year on August 31st, Gérard pays a tribute to the princess of the hearts.
