The Little Paris opened officially to the public in June 2002. The site is run by a support-committee, an Association law 2001 “the Little Paris friends”..

In spite of the remote situation the Little Paris has become a success. Gérard Brion has managed to develop its attractiveness with an average number of15 000 visitors a year but with NO public funds. He has no support from his region so our creator hopes to develop his project somewhere else, in a better tourist and more dynamic region!

Thanks to his success, Gérard Brion is fighting to find funds and he is planning to move his work in order to develop his concept. The Little Paris was to move abroad for a Hilton casino project in Las Vegas and recently to China and event the Arab Emirates! But Gérard has finally found a place for his project near La Rochelle, his born-place.

The Little Paris is expected to move late in 2011 and settle between Rochefort and Royan. It will be re-built 10 times as big on a 3 hectare ground and in a more than 3 million tourists a year area. His dream is to reconstitute a “Mini Las Vegas” with miniature Paris, Rome, London or New York and with a restaurant, a room for games and music-hall shows... So, his Little Paris will become a big tourist attraction.
